Spring has well and truly arrived and Deep Canyon is OPEN for another awesome season! We are currently guiding Niger Stream, Imp Grotto, Big Nige and The Leaping Burn.
Spring trips have high water flows and temperatures can be colder, so Niger Stream is the perfect option for October. By mid November most canyons become available, with Mill Creek and Wilson Creek opening up from January onward. January until middle of March is the most suitable time for canyoning in the Wanaka and Haast Pass regions.
